Shoes on the Danube Bank”, a Holocaust memorial in Budapest.

It consists of 60 pairs of cast-iron shoes along the Pest-side Danube promenade, near the Hungarian Parliament. The shoes commemorate Jewish men, women, and children who were forced to remove their shoes and were shot into the Danube by Arrow Cross militiamen during 1944–45. The memorial was created by filmmaker Can Togay and sculptor Gyula Pauer, and unveiled in 2005
